Before you start: the app's fields only appear on issues if they have been configured by an admin.
To see and use these fields, your Jira admin must:
- install Time Tracking Customfield from Atlassian Marketplace,
- create one or more custom fields of type Time Tracking or Duration (for example "QA Estimate", "SLA Limit"),
- add these fields to the relevant screens (Create, View/Edit, and optionally transition screens and portals) for your projects.

Use Time Tracking fields

Timesheet — your whole week in one page
- See everything you logged as an issue × day grid, one week at a time — native Jira worklogs and your Time Tracking fields together.
- Add, edit, and delete time inline from the grid, without opening each issue.
- Track spent-vs-estimate per field in the Progress column, and filter the week by field.
Track time with the timer
- Start a timer on any Time Tracking field while you work.
- Stop the timer to log the elapsed time as a worklog in one click — Time spent and Date started are auto-filled.
- Timers survive tab close and work across devices. The timer feature is off by default — a project admin must enable it.
